The Role

The Company is looking to bolster its insurance practice with dynamic, passionate, and collaborative lawyers. It offers competitive remuneration that commensurates with experience and skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act for insurers in motor, work injury and other personal injury claims

  • Act for individual clients for personal injury claims arising from motor accidents, public liability etc.

  • Represent insurers in defending claims bought by claimants/plaintiffs in personal injury and/or property damage claims arising from motor accidents and industrial accidents

  • Render opinion on Liability and Quantum to clients in respect of personal injury and property damage claims

  • Attend Court Dispute Resolution at the States Courts

Key Requirements

  • A Singapore-qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years’ PQE

  • Broad experience of defendant insurance disputes, including personal injury, property damage, and professional negligence matters

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possess initiative, drive and commercial acumen, and can work well both independently and in a team

  • Meticulous and well organised

  • Able to thrive in a fast paced and challenging professional services work atmosphere

  • Keep pace with evolving workplace technology

  • A portable client base is a plus
